Alayna Oram joined Omni Hotels & Resorts in 2011 as director of resort marketing at Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort. She was responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans for all components of the resort. Alayna was part of the team responsible for launching the re-imagined resort as well as conceptualizing the Fish to Fork Weekend event, which generated over $1 million in value to the resort in its first year.
In August 2015, she moved to the Omni corporate office to assume the role of director of resort marketing and was responsible for the on-going execution of resort marketing strategies. In 2016, Alayna’s role was expanded and she began to oversee all marketing initiatives for the brand. In addition, she manages relationships with property leadership as well as the brand’s advertising agency, The Richards Group. Since then, Alayna has spearheaded several marketing initiatives including developing the new brand tagline, Never Stay the Same, creating a comprehensive brand content strategy, and expanding the media plan to include partnerships, custom branded content, and social influencers.
A graduate of the University of Florida, she has held executive positions at prestigious agencies including Cole Henderson Drake and Morgan & Partners, as well as owning her own boutique agency, Relay Marketing.
